These all-natural silks are made through a collaboration of three artisan groups - cocoon rearers, yarn-makers and weavers. Each step of this item's creation supports an artisan livelihood; from the rearing of the dried cocoon to the weaving of the yarn.
The collective provide work for thousands of artisans in India who weave these exquisite, story-telling silk scarves.
